Altex was founded in 1975 in Ville Saint-Laurent by Michel Alepins and his sons, Paul and Gaetan. We specialize in custom window treatments for the residential, commercial and architectural sectors. In 1989, Altex moved to Terrebonne to increase its productivity and better meet the growing demand for our products. In 2012, our family business also acquired SunProjectTM, a Toronto-based company that specializes in light and energy management.
Constantly evolving and innovating, Altex sells its products throughout North America and partners with companies around the world to provide the highest quality in fabrics, mechanisms and control systems, many of which are patented.
